Hello! I'm Karen Woodland, owner at Power House Fitness.
Professionally, I am a Registered Dietitian with 28 years of experience, and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer with many years of experience training and competing in professional bodybuilding.
Helping people feel more confident - both in and out of the gym - is truly what I love to do.
My competing days are behind me now but people still ask me what I'm training for, and I always say "LIFE"! I'm training to be healthy today and for the future me. I'm training to be strong so that I can prevent disease and disability as I age. I believe fitness should enhance your life - not overwhelm it. I'm here to help you build strength, improve your health, and feel good in your body for the long run.
My vision for Power House is that of a community gym for all ages. I strive to offer a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals looking to improve their strength, health, and overall wellness.
I'm really excited to offer group classes! I love the supportive environment of class and helping people get stronger every day.
